Job Description

The Senior Media Buyer (Digital) is responsible for the execution of high-level media campaigns, particularly those with larger budgets or more complex objectives.

They are accountable for optimizing performance, driving growth, and providing strategic recommendations based on data analysis. In addition to managing key client relationships, they mentor and guide junior team members to ensure successful campaign execution.


*Candidates will be required to take a Technical Media Case Study Exam. 

*Hybrid - 3x a week Onsite at Ortigas Office


Duties and Responsibilities

1.) Campaign Implementation & Management

  • Leads the strategic execution and optimization of performance marketing campaigns, ensuring error-free implementation and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Oversees the full lifecycle of high-budget, high-priority campaigns, ensuring that performance is maximized across paid channels.
  • Monitors campaign delivery and performance closely, taking immediate corrective actions to meet challenging KPIs and client expectations.

2.) Tracking & Attribution

  • Leads the setup and implementation of advanced tracking systems, including UTM tags and tracking pixels, to ensure accurate data collection for critical metrics.
  • Ensures conversion tracking and attribution models are in place, making adjustments to optimize accuracy and data flow.

3.) Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track, compile and report on KPIs of media activity in collaboration with the Analytics team to create weekly/monthly reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization to maximize campaign performance and meet client objectives.
  • Providing insights and recommendations on performance to identify effectiveness of the campaign and identifying opportunities for future optimization.
  • Confidently present data and optimization strategies to clients and internal stakeholders if and when required.

4.) Quality Assurance

  • Conducting thorough quality checks to ensure that implemented elements are functioning properly and adhering to industry standards. Troubleshooting any issues related to ad rendering or functionality.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the campaign lifecycle (disapprovals, discrepancies in ad tracking, and resolving all other operational challenges.

5.) Ad Technology Management

  • Leads the adoption of new technologies, media tools, and platforms to drive campaign innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Regularly evaluates and integrates emerging trends and best practices, leading the charge in differentiating clients from competitors.
  • Acts as a thought leader in the team, mentoring junior media buyers on new ad tech and media opportunities.

6.) Billing Management 

  • Oversee the entire billing management process of verifying campaign details, budgets, and media placements, ensuring everything is aligned.
  • Takes the lead in managing the accreditation process with new vendors, ensuring all necessary requirements and standards are met for successful partnerships.
  • Take lead in resolving discrepancies, address issues causing delays, and manage the overall billing timeline.
  • Confirm final media buys, and ensure timely invoice submissions, handling any disputes directly.
  • Provide final, detailed billing info, handle complex dispute resolutions, and track payments from start to finish.
  • Review and approve campaign expenses, manage final approval workflows, and reconcile discrepancies with authority.
  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive billing reports, ensuring they meet internal and client expectations.
  • Act as the point of contact for all teams regarding billing issues, resolve delays, and maintain smooth collaboration with finance and vendors.



Key Competencies and Skills

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has expertise in paid media tools (Google Ads, META Business Tools, TikTok Ads, etc.), with the ability to lead the strategy and optimization for large, complex campaigns.
  • Has exceptional analytical abilities, capable of interpreting large datasets, drawing actionable insights, and presenting complex data to clients and stakeholders with strategic recommendations.
  • Is able to lead the implementation of advanced tracking systems, optimizing media buys, and ensuring that campaigns deliver against challenging KPIs.
  • Is able to present high-level insights and optimization strategies to team members, guiding them towards better media solutions and future opportunities.
  • Is able to mentor junior media buyers, providing guidance and support in campaign management and problem-solving, ensuring tasks are executed at a high standard.
  • Takes responsibility for high-budget campaigns and large client accounts, managing resources, timelines, and client expectations with minimal supervision.
  • Continuously drives innovation by identifying new media opportunities, adapting to new technologies, and leading the team through changes in business needs or client objectives.
  • Has ownership of more complex KPIs and takes accountability for the performance of campaigns, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset, driving results and taking calculated risks to improve campaign performance and enhance business outcomes.
  • Leads by example, ensuring effective collaboration across teams and fostering a culture of innovation and success within the department.


Required Qualifications
  •  2-5 years of experience in media buying or related fields, with proven success in managing large or complex campaigns.
  • Experience guiding and mentoring junior media buyers, offering strategic direction, support, and optimizing campaign execution.
  • Strong experience in managing client relationships or planning counterparts, leading strategy discussions, and ensuring campaigns meet business objectives and KPIs.
  • Leads the development and execution of complex media strategies that align with client goals and broader business KPIs.
  • Provides in-depth analysis and actionable optimization recommendations to maximize campaign performance 
  • Owns and is accountable for challenging KPIs, with a focus on driving measurable growth and success.
  • Stays ahead of industry trends, identifying and leveraging new opportunities for campaign optimization and differentiation.
  • Strong internet connection with clear audio output during days with remote work.
