The Senior IT Program Manager is accountable for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives under his/her assigned portfolio, with primarily focused on store and store-related projects and select enterprise-wide programs.
Beyond delivery, this role also acts as a key pillar of the PMO Center of Excellence (CoE), responsible for enabling regional technology leaders with project management guidance, standards, and capabilities.
This leader ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise strategy, while driving a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and ensuring benefit realization of committed outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Governance
Lead and manage the portfolio of store-related initiatives and assigned enterprise projects.
Define governance structures and ensure compliance with PMO standards, templates, and reporting frameworks.
Monitor portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, and inter-project impacts; escalate and resolve issues as required.
Ensure all initiatives are aligned with enterprise strategic imperatives (e.g., operational excellence, digital transformation, customer experience).
Project Delivery & Execution
Oversee execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, cost, time, and quality.
Provide direct support to project managers, business analysts, and technical leads assigned to initiatives.
Lead recovery of at-risk projects, providing corrective actions and hands-on support when needed.
Partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, IT, Finance, HR, and Marketing.
Benefit Realization & Value Tracking
Define and validate expected business benefits during initiation, track and report realization throughout the lifecycle.
Collaborate with business sponsors and Finance to ensure ownership and measurement of outcomes post go-live.
Establish benefit realization dashboards for visibility at executive levels.
People Leadership & Culture Building
Lead, coach, and develop project managers and analysts to build a high-performing team.
Drive cultural alignment focused on collaboration, servant leadership, accountability, and continuous learning.
Promote diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing in all program activities.
Recognize contributions, celebrate wins, and foster team resilience.
PMO Center of Excellence (CoE) Enablement
Act as an enabler and advisor to regional technology leaders across markets (NA, EMEA, PH, China, Global Brands).
Provide guidance, policies, standards, and templates to uplift project management maturity across regions.
Deliver capability enablement offerings such as Project Management 101 training, Testing as a Service (support or consulted) and Project Recovery as a Service
Share best practices, lessons learned, and reusable assets across the enterprise.
Drive consistency and harmonization of project management practices across regions and brands.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, sponsors, and regional heads.
Act as the escalation and alignment point for sponsors and functional stakeholders.
Facilitate steering committees, workshops, and governance forums.
Translate technical or program updates into clear, business-focused communication.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
8–12 years of progressive project/program management experience, ideally with exposure to store, retail, or QSR-related projects and enterprise initiatives.
Proven experience in building or operating a PMO/CoE function at regional or enterprise level.
Knowledge of PM methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or hybrid.
PMP, PgMP, or Agile certifications preferred.
Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
