Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with a focus on acquiring corporate clients for translation services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and upsells
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to individual client requirements
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company
  • Collaborate with project managers and translators to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Represent Elite Translations Philippines at industry events and conferences to network and generate leads
  • Be present during major events such as simultaneous interpretation projects to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of service and address any client concerns on-site

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the language services industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in English and Filipino, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are a plus
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to work during weekends and holidays as needed, particularly for major events
