We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Specialist with 35 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the agribusiness sector. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing marketing strategies, strengthening brand presence, and building strong customer relationships. The successful candidate must be willing to conduct fieldwork and engage directly with farmers, distributors, dealers, cooperatives, and other agricultural stakeholders.
Sales Functions
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
Conduct regular field visits to customers, distributors, dealers, and farm sites.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and forecasts.
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support business growth.
Marketing Functions
Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote products and services.
Create and manage marketing content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
Coordinate and participate in agricultural trade shows, exhibits, product launches, field days, and other marketing events.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Support brand development and ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media marketing, online advertising, and lead generation campaigns.
Measure and analyze marketing campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Preferred Skills
Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
Experience organizing agricultural events, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.
Familiarity with agricultural markets, farming operations, and agribusiness value chains.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably within the agribusiness, agriculture, farming, agricultural inputs, livestock, feed, fertilizer, seed, crop protection, or related industries.
Strong understanding of agricultural markets, products, and customer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building and customer management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
Willing and able to conduct extensive fieldwork and travel as required.
Valid driver's license is an advantage.
