As our new Robotics Controller, you will keep our digital workforce healthy and productive every day, ensuring business continuity across automations in Blue Prism, Optomo, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure. Doing so you will monitor live environments, resolving exceptions, managing workloads, and serving as the key liaison between business process owners and the Intelligent Automation team.
What You Will Be Doing
As a key part of the Intelligent Automation team, youll create impact by Ensuring business continuity and efficiency by keeping our automation landscape healthy, optimized, and continuously improving across Blue Prism, Power Platform, and Azure-based solutions.
Your main responsibilities include:
Monitor and administer the live automation environment daily, including running processes, maintaining resource PCs, and reviewing logs across Blue Prism, Optomo, Power Platform, and Azure
Manage and allocate workloads efficiently, including capacity planning and forecasting to ensure optimal Digital Workforce utilization
Oversee SLA performance and proactively address risks to ensure stable and timely business delivery.
Act as the first point of contact for business process owners — providing performance insights, managing expectations, and ensuring all cases and exceptions are addressed.
Handle all business and system exceptions, including structured incident, problem, and redress management following ITIL practices.
Execute hotfixes and support root-cause analysis, ensuring four-eyes governance for production access.
Develop and deliver high-value automation solutions following established software development processes, including CI/CD pipelines and security governance
Collaborate across Intelligent Automation, IT, and business teams to share knowledge, optimize processes, and contribute to a scalable and resilient automation landscape
What Makes You a Great Fit
Above all, you are a hands-on automation professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who thrives at the intersection of technical operations and business collaboration. We would also imagine that you have:
At least 3+ years of practical experience in RPA operations, process automation, or a related role
Proficiency in Blue Prism and Optomo, including environment monitoring, exception handling, and process management. Alternatively, BluePrism Orchestrator.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, logs, and system performance to optimize efficiency and resolve issues
Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented design, CI/CD pipelines, and IT security governance
Computer Science degree or similar is preferred
It is a plus if you are also:
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate), Azure Logic Apps, or PowerBI
Operational knowledge of business systems such as SAP and MS Excel
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and problem management practices
