The Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in leading and executing high-impact projects across all departments.
This position will get directions and report directly to the COO and oversee key initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, system integration, and service excellence. The Project Manager will ensure that strategic priorities from the COOs office are translated into clear plans, executed with precision, and delivered with measurable results with department heads and project leads across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
Lead end-to-end management of high-priority operational and strategic projects under the COOs office from initiation to delivery.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure project outcomes align with company goals, maintaining focus on quality, timeliness, and budget discipline.
Coordinate with QRRS, I.T., and Operation teams to drive seamless execution of cross-departmental initiatives.
Regularly brief the COO with status updates, issue escalations, and solution recommendations.
Strategic Operations Support
Translate the COOs strategic directives into actionable project roadmaps and measurable objectives.
Conduct operational analyses to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments to monitor performance and guide decision-making.
Support automation, systems integration, and data-driven process optimization in partnership with I.T. and Operations.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Serve as the central coordination point between the COOs with departments heads and project leads across the organization.
Prepare and deliver executive reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing project progress, risks, and insights.
Foster alignment, accountability, and collaboration across all levels of the organization
Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive operational information.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Standardize project management frameworks, tools, and reporting templates for the COOs office.
Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early; lead timely resolution and contingency planning.
Promote operational excellence through disciplined project tracking, documentation, and post-project evaluations.
Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous process improvement.
Qualification And Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in business administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience
At least 2 years experience managing enterprise-wide projects within a dynamic business environment.
Strong background in cross-functional coordination, particularly with operations, systems, and quality functions.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen eye for process and data integrity.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
Proven 2 years of hands-on experience in project management, operations management, or process improvement, preferably within the retail, e-commerce, or FMCG industry.
Proven expertise in project planning, data analysis, and systems implementation.
Proficiency in project management tools such as (e.g., Notion, Monday.com, or equivalent).
Strong command of Excel, Google Sheets, MS Teams, Outlook and data visualization tools for project tracking and reporting.
Familiarity with automation, workflow optimization, and cross-functional system integration initiatives.
