Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

— Responsible for the accuracy of all structural drafting tasks.

— Ensures all drawings are checked before they are issued to the client.

— Ensures all drawings comply with CAD Standards and Quality Systems relevant to specialisation and location

— Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD Standards and Quality Systems.

— Carries out audits of drawings-in-progress, as well as the final drawings.

— Responsible in the development of drawings from designer sketches and working sheets to the final outputs taking into

consideration the clarity, completeness and accuracy of the plan.

— Accountable for the coordination and production of drawings and drafting requirements of the assigned project/s.

— Mentors staff on drafting procedures and approaches to performing tasks.

— Responsible for maintaining back-up of drawing files – hard and soft copies for record and future references.

— Carry out cross discipline reviews, constructability checks and clash detection reviews

— Evaluates staff performance in line with HR procedures.

— Conscientiously works towards the group’s objectives and adheres to the company’s policy.

— Perform tasks assigned by the Drafting Discipline Lead/ BAS Discipline Lead / Transport Manila Operations Manager / Regional Team Executive in line with his experience, discipline or qualifications.

Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):

— Diploma of Engineering or Advanced Diploma of Engineering equivalent to Senior Technical Associate – CADD or Graduate of any technical course or at least three (3) years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture course.

Experience, Skills And Organisational Knowledge

— At least ten (10) years of relevant structural drafting experience

— High level drafting and detailing skills

— High level use and understanding of CAD software and how it applies (AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise, Revit) — Prepares engineering drawing deliverables from sketches, calculations and/or specifications

— Experience in a senior team role

— Exposure to different business models and industry best practice

— Preferably with experience on Australian projects
