Support accurate funding execution by validating identity, banking, entity, balance, and contract details before release. As a Pre-Funding Support, you will serve as a key compliance and accuracy checkpoint, ensuring contracts are built correctly in PandaDoc and released within a strict 30-minute SLA.

ROLE SNAPSHOT

As a Pre-Funding Support, you are responsible for validating identity, banking, entity records, balances, and risk indicators prior to contract release. You ensure contracts are built accurately in PandaDoc and released within a strict 30-minute SLA.

What You’ll Do

Contract SLA Management

• Release contracts within 30 minutes of request.
• Confirm whether balances must be calculated prior to contract release.
• Escalate to the underwriter or leadership when clarification is required before sending.
  
  

Identity and Banking Verification

• Verify EIN matches internal records.
• Confirm Driver’s License is valid and up to date, and request updated ID if expired.
• Ensure merchant name in Salesforce matches government ID exactly.
• Validate voided check against submitted bank statements.
• Confirm voided check is acceptable for funding, and request a new voided check, bank letter, or alternate proof if insufficient.
• Enter and double-check banking information, including account and routing number.
• Confirm bank statement name and voided check match the funding entity.
• If there is a mismatch with SOS, list as DBA without “LLC” or “Inc.” in the DBA formatting.
• Correct DBA formatting in Salesforce and contract as needed.
  
  

OpenCorporates and Secretary of State Validation

• Search entity name and variations in OpenCorporates.
• Verify entity status is Active, and notify the broker and required stakeholders if inactive.
• Ensure spelling matches Secretary of State records exactly in Salesforce.
• Confirm state of incorporation matches Salesforce records.
• Identify and document branches or associated entities in other states.
• Investigate out-of-state entities through CLEAR or credit reports if applicable.
• Download and upload SOS or OpenCorporates filings to Salesforce if missing.
  
  

Entity and Portfolio Cross-Reference Checks

• Review Other Owner Accounts in Salesforce and add to the entity list.
• Cross-reference prior contracts and UCC data.
• Check other MCA contracts on file and review for additional DBAs, entities, or owners.
  
  

Balance Review Prior to Contract Send-Out

• Calculate balances prior to contract release when balances are submitted to determine if offer adjustments are required.
• Send the contract if balances were not provided, unless the broker selected “Wait to confirm balances.”
• Confirm with leadership if instructions are unclear before proceeding.
  
  

Pre-Send Research and Risk Review

• Locate and add entity website to Salesforce.
• Search entity for additional DBAs, locations, or related businesses.
• Research merchant and owner for other owned businesses using LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other available sources.
• Search for lawsuits using entity and merchant name variations.
• Review news articles or publications for relevant findings.
  
  

Contract Building in PandaDoc

• Verify physical address using website, Yelp, Google, prior MCA contracts, or Google Earth if necessary.
• Request broker clarification if the physical address is unclear.
• Add all discovered DBAs to the contract.
• Confirm mailing address matches the bank statement tied to the funded account.
• Request correction if address information is inconsistent.
• Calculate Estimated Monthly Average using the required formula: sum of 3 months’ deposits, minus MCA deposits, divided by 3.
• Ensure owner name matches government ID exactly, including middle initials and suffixes.
• Confirm correct counter-signer assignment prior to release.
