Role Overview
We are looking for a Paralegal to be part of our team
He/She will play a critical role in a variety of legal matters for the organization. This will include preparing and organizing various legal documents.
He/She will provide excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in direct interactions with business leaders, legal counsel, and other key stakeholders.
He/She will focus on collaboration and building positive relationships both internally and externally and have an exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Paralegal shall perform duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Conduct legal research using statutes, regulations, case law, and legal databases.
Assists with a wide range of legal functions including the preparation, review, and revision of corporate documents, meeting materials, minutes, agency, and regulatory filings, licensure applications, contracts, including review, drafting, and management of Services Agreements, MSAs, NDAs, BAAs, amendments, and other legal documents.
Proofreads and edits legal documents as needed.
Researches laws and regulations for a variety of jurisdictions.
Acts as a liaison between the Legal department and internal stakeholders (Compliance, Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Operations, Executive Leadership, etc.) to proactively identify issues, assist with project management, and facilitate timely contract execution.
Assists with process improvement initiatives related to contract management and workflows.
Supports the Legal and Finance team on special projects and general administrative duties as assigned.
Monitors proposed legislation and regulations related to healthcare.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program, is preferred but not required.
At least 3 years of relevant experience as a paralegal and contracts specialist, preferably in a healthcare or corporate legal environment is required. Multistate experience is preferred but not required
Experience with drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts and familiarity with commercial terms is required.
Experience supporting Legal/Compliance, Sales or Revenue Operations teams is required.
Experience with contract lifecycle management systems and workflows for review, approval, tracking, renewal deadlines, and execution is required.
Amenable to either Hybrid or Remote work set-up
Amenable to report on US Timezone
Willing to be assigned at Rockwell Business Center – Ortigas, Pasig City.
