About The Role

The IT Audit Officer is responsible for evaluating the design and assessing the operating effectiveness of key IT controls while taking into consideration the risks involved. He or she will assist the Internal Audit Manager in executing the IT audit plan, and reporting and monitoring of IT audit results with key stakeholders. The IT Audit Officer will help provide an independent assurance service to the Audit Committee and senior management; focusing on adding value and improving PDAX’s operations; and ensuring that IT controls put into place by management are designed properly and performed effectively.

General Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of PDAX’s systems, applications, processes, and IT controls.
• Participate in the planning, risk identification and assessment, control testing, and reporting phases of IT audit engagements.
• Discuss audit observations with key stakeholders and monitor the performance of the agreed action plans.
• Proactively monitor and integrate emerging regulations and best practices to continually elevate the quality of IT audit engagements.
• Other responsibilities delegated by the Internal Audit Manager.
  
  

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Information System, or Internal Audit.
• With at least three (3) years of progressive experience in information technology audit (internal or external auditing).
• With at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
• Experience gained within a financial institution or an accounting firm is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.

• Background in the Financial Industry.
