A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

This role will primarily be building enhancements and bug fixes for the Consumer and Tradie applications as well as ensuring the continued knowledge growth within the team. It will also require that industry best practices are always met and keeping on top of new technologies so that the company can take advantage of keeping hipages the market leader in technology

Key Responsibilities

• Building new features for both the Consumer and Tradie applications
• Collaborate with team members to contribute towards knowledge sharing and development
• Contribute to code reviews to keep coding standards to the highest level
• Actively participate with both engineering and product during ideation and implementation phases
• Actively contribute towards the committed evolution of our technology stack, to industry best practice
• Contribute to a culture of automated testing and deployment
• Monitor and validate the hypothesis that drives the changes made by your team
• Enjoy working with brilliant, fun people!
  
  

a Bit About You

• 3-5 years of experience as a software engineer, or a savvy new or recent graduate
• Participate in design and code reviews, encouraging best practices whenever possible
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Applied knowledge of OO software design patterns
• A plus if you are an active participant of open-source projects
