Job Title: Head of Sales

Role Overview
The Head of Sales is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by defining and executing sales strategy, building scalable sales processes, and expanding market reach across existing and new service offerings. This role requires a strategic leader who can operate at both the executive and execution levels—shaping commercial direction while actively enabling and elevating the sales team.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in selling professional services, understands consultative and solution-based selling, and has a proven track record of building high-performing sales organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand revenue across existing and new service lines.
Identify and create new avenues for revenue expansion, including new offerings, pricing models, and go-to-market approaches.
Own revenue targets and forecasting, ensuring predictable and scalable growth.
Sales Process & Execution
Design, implement, and continuously refine end-to-end sales processes to improve conversion rates, deal velocity, and pipeline quality.
Establish clear sales methodologies, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks.
Partner with marketing, delivery, and leadership teams to ensure alignment from lead generation through service delivery.
Market Expansion & Network Development
Expand sales networks and strategic relationships to open new channels for selling current and future services.
Develop partnerships, alliances, and referral channels that accelerate market penetration.
Represent the company in industry events, client meetings, and strategic negotiations.
Team Leadership & Enablement
Recruit, train, coach, and mentor the sales team on effective consultative selling techniques.
Build a performance-driven sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Implement sales training programs, playbooks, and best practices to elevate individual and team performance.
Client & Opportunity Development
Personally engage in high-value or complex sales opportunities, supporting deal structuring and closing when required.
Ensure a strong understanding of client needs, translating them into tailored service solutions.
Maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in a sales leadership role within professional services, consulting, or a related industry.
Demonstrated success in creating and executing sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
Strong background in building and implementing scalable sales processes and KPI’s.
Experience expanding sales networks, partnerships, and new market channels.
Proven ability to train, coach, and lead sales teams to consistently improve performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
Experience in handling B2B accounts.
Experience in multilateral government agency and organizational partnerships is a BONUS.
