Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

Job Description

• Leads the period-end closing and consolidation activities for the Group
• Handles and oversees day-to-day general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintenance of the general ledger
• Prepares periodic reports, such as financial statements, MD&A, and other compliance reports
• Assists in the periodic tax compliance activities and ensures timely recording of tax-related entries
• Assists in the periodic audit process, providing necessary schedules and documentation to both internal and external auditors
• Provides training to new and existing staff, as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• CPA license and/or audit experience is an advantage but not required
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, 3 years of which should be in a supervisory role
• Comfortable dealing with extensive data using Microsoft Excel and/or other BI tools such as Tableau; SAP FICO experience is an advantage but not required
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills; team player
• Proactive, resourceful, adaptive, and open to new learnings
