We’re looking for an experienced Data Product Owner to join our Data Agile Release Train (Data ART). You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-value data products that power insights, enable automation, and drive smarter business decisions across regions. Working closely with the Data Product Manager, you’ll help define and prioritise the data product backlog, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and ART objectives.

This is a unique opportunity to influence how data capabilities evolve across a global organisation operating under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner within the Data ART, representing business needs and ensuring alignment with ART goals and the data strategy.
• Own and manage the team backlog, clearly defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and business value.
• Work with the Data Product Manager to shape the data roadmap and ensure backlog prioritisation reflects enterprise and ART priorities.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and scientists to deliver high-quality data products including dashboards, reports, data pipelines, models and other analytics solutions
• Participate actively in PI Planning, sprint ceremonies, and ART syncs to align delivery with other teams and value streams.
• Ensure clear communication of data product vision, objectives, and dependencies across teams.
• Support implementation of data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
• Track adoption and performance metrics for delivered data products, driving continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years experience as a Data Product owner in data or technology-focused environment.
• Strong grasp of data concepts – data pipelines, warehousing, governance, analytics, and BI tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business teams.
• Strong understanding of SAFe or Agile delivery, including PI Planning, ART ceremonies, and backlog refinement.
• Experience in telecommunications, technology, or other large-scale enterprise settings is highly advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, global, matrixed environment.
• Certification in SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
