About The Role

As the Data & Analytics Lead, you will own and shape Hive’s data and analytics function, enabling the organization to make better, faster, and more patient-centered decisions. You will be responsible for defining Hive’s data and analytics strategy, translating business needs into actionable insights, and ensuring the right data foundations, tools, and governance are in place to support scale.

As a senior, cross-functional leader, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Growth teams to embed analytics into day-to-day decision-making and drive development of impactful AI-powered data products for Hives patients, provider partners and internal stakeholders. You will play a critical role in helping Hive deliver a more efficient, transparent, and high-quality healthcare experience for Filipinos through data-informed innovation.

Responsibilities

As the Data & Analytics Lead, your areas of responsibility include:

• Define and operationalize a data and analytics strategy aligned with Hive’s organizational goals and strategic priorities
• Partner with business units to identify, prioritize, and scope high-impact analytics and data use cases
• Translate business needs into clear analytical frameworks, metrics, and reporting requirements
• Ensure the right data architecture, tools, and platforms are in place to process, analyze, and scale healthcare and operational data
• Oversee data governance within the analytics scope (post-staging layer), including change management processes, data quality standards, access controls, and ethical use of data
• Enable and scale self-service analytics by developing standardized, trusted datasets and empowering business teams with data exploration and visualization tools
• Drive the development of high-impact dashboards, predictive models, and analytical insights that inform strategic and operational decisions
• Champion a data-informed culture by promoting experimentation, continuous improvement, and patient-centered innovation through data and analytics
• Lead, Manage, and be Accountable for Hives data function and its outcomes
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data, analytics, data science, or related roles
• Minimum 3 years of experience with direct team management, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; experience working with and leading analytical work in cloud data environments (GCP BigQuery preferred)
• Nice to have: hands-on exposure with a modern data stack (e.g. dbt for transformations, an orchestration tool such as Airflow or Prefect, and BI tools such as Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Metabase)
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical solutions
• Curious, results-driven, with a strong ownership mentality and growth mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative team player who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment
