💼 Role: Customer Care Officer

🎯 Answer incoming calls, take bookings, and respond to customer enquiries professionally and efficiently

📧 Manage the company inbox and handle booking requests, customer queries, and email escalations

📝 Accurately update customer information, service requests, and booking changes in company systems (Wastedge, SharePoint, Microsoft 365)

📅 Reschedule bookings during public holidays and service interruptions

🤝 Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and timely service delivery

📊 Assist with general administrative tasks to support daily operations and customer satisfaction

⭐ Maintain a high standard of customer service aligned with Speedie Waste’s values and policies

✅ Previous experience in customer service or a call centre environment (waste management or logistics experience is a plus)

✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

✅ Ability to manage a busy inbox and respond accurately and promptly

✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new systems

✅ Strong time management and organisational skills

✅ A team-first attitude with a willingness to support colleagues when needed

✅ Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve issues professionally
