The Audit Manager Performs The Ff. Functions

• Preparing Risk Assessment for the BUs assigned;
• Assisting or performing the consolidation of the risk assessment;
• Mapping out the risks into the process;
• Developing and/or reviewing the audit approach, including performance of data analysis, involvement of a specialist like IT auditors;
• Leading the opening and closing meeting with the BU Heads;
• Reviewing the work of each team members and the overall engagement to ensure that approach, timing, scope and report are appropriate and of high quality;
• Reviewing and signing off the audit reports and other engagement documentation;
• Preparing and presenting the audit report to IA team or management;
• Reviewing the work of the audit associate, other team members or specialist;
• Performing team meetings to monitor performance and keep the progress within the cycle time;
• Providing engagement feedback to audit senior;
• Conducting key take-away sessions with the team for knowledge sharing purposes
• Developing synergies with the iCon Ambassadors to ensure that internal control culture is reinforced;
• Assisting in the preparation of team reports to IA Head, Audit Committee, and/or regulators; and,
• Performing fraud engagements, compliance and special audits, or any other tasks or functions that will be assigned by the IA manager or IA Head.
