A Glimpse into Your New Role

As an Audio Scheduler you are responsible in ensuring that all employment and personal information of employees are kept and handled in accordance with existing company policies on Information Security and Data Privacy.

  • Audio Scheduling:
    • Prepare and manage audio schedules for channels, ensuring compliance with broadcasting, communications & media regulations and acts.
    • Ensure the accurate delivery of booked campaigns, sponsorships, and adherence to client terms & conditions, minimising potential credits or make-good claims.
    • Apply Sales and Inventory Management policies to each schedule and transaction to maximise revenue potential.
    • Provide support to the Scheduling team as required to ensure smooth operations and schedule integrity.

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all scheduling activities comply with relevant industry legislation and Codes of Practice.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programming ratings, demand information, and broader industry issues impacting the company’s inventory.

  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain and optimise commercial availability and inventory integrity as directed to ensure maximum availability and revenue potential.
    • Process advanced program changes promptly and reconcile any affected commercial inventory.
    • Actively manage inventory to facilitate effective advance schedule production and minimise potential disruptions during absences for leave or training opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Provide accurate communications to relevant onshore teams to: Ensure alignment between sales schedules and content schedules.
    • Ensure any identified issues or queries are resolved in a timely manner

  • Team Collaboration:
    • Support the Team Leader in achieving team goals and contribute to discussions and problem-solving initiatives.
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the team’s overall effectiveness and performance.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on improving present procedures and searching out innovative ways to enhance operations.

  • Administrative Duties:
    • Efficiently file documents relating to current inventory management policies for easy referral.
    • Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled absences are promptly recorded on the internal HR system.
What You’ll Bring

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated passion for detail and accuracy.
  • Computer skills to an intermediate level – familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Media experience, media-oriented tertiary qualifications, or advertising industry experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Experience in an inbound call-centre environment and/or service/sales-oriented industry is beneficial.
  • Ability to learn new software/information systems readily using an existing base skill set.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision to standards and deadlines.
  • Time management, planning, and organising skills to work promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer focus with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism with clients and stakeholders in all interactions.
  • Mental acuity to task-switch and deal with interruptions while maintaining overall focus and accuracy.
  • Creative problem-solving and lateral thinking skills.
