Job Description

Summary

As the Amazon Listings Specialist, you will own the creation, optimization, launch, and maintenance of all product listings on Amazon Seller Central (including A+ Content, Storefronts, and backend search terms). You will apply deep SEO knowledge, keyword research, upload techniques (single and bulk/flat files) and best-in-class content standards to improve keyword rankings, drive traffic, and increase sales.

Essential Functions

Listing Creation & Optimization

  • Create, edit, and optimize Amazon product listings (titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend search terms, variations) for all ASINs.
  • Conduct advanced keyword research and competitor analysis to inform SEO strategy and improve organic rankings.
  • Write SEO-rich, conversion-focused copy that aligns with Amazon search best practices and brand voice.
  • Manage A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content and Amazon Storefront updates.

Catalog Management & Uploads

  • Upload new products via manual entry and bulk flat-file templates with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update listings regularly to reflect changes in features, specifications, and branding.
  • Monitor suppressed listings, suppressed attributes, errors, and take corrective action following Amazon policies.

SEO & Performance Monitoring

  • Track organic search performance, keyword ranking, sessions, click-through-rate (CTR), and conversion metrics.
  • Use SEO and analytics tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Seller Central reports, etc.) to identify opportunities.
  • Implement ongoing listing improvements based on data, trends, performance insights, and competitor movements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with design teams, photographers, and copywriters to develop high-quality imagery, infographics, and enhanced visual assets.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure product information, availability, and pricing are synchronized.

Account Health & Compliance

  • Maintain account health by ensuring compliance with Amazon policies, resolving listing issues, and managing Amazon support tickets when necessary.


  • Essential Qualifications

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 3+ years experience managing Amazon product listings and catalogs on Seller Central or Vendor Central.
    • Demonstrated Amazon SEO expertise and deep understanding of A9 algorithm, keyword strategy, and ranking factors.
    • Strong proficiency with flat-file uploads, bulk templates, and listing maintenance procedures.
    • Excellent written English with the ability to craft persuasive, SEO-driven copy.
    • Experience working with A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content and Amazon Storefronts.
    • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and experience with Amazon SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout).
    • Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple product launches and updates under tight deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience creating or collaborating on visual assets (infographics, lifestyle images, videos).
    • Understanding of Amazon advertising (PPC) and how listing content impacts ads performance.
    • Previous experience managing an Amazon storefront with high SKU volume.
    • Knowledge of Walmart, TEMU, Tiktok and other marketplaces.
