Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor:

• Ensure all purchases are supported with purchase orders and goods receipt before invoice processing.
• Perform GRNI analysis to resolve outstanding items and match goods receipts with invoices.
• Prepare and post prepayment release journals for third-party vendors and advance staff claims.
• Review and process staff claims, corporate credit card transactions, and freight invoices in line with approval policies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage AP email inbox and ensure timely resolution of invoicing queries.
• Oversee statutory audits and tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, and other BIR requirements.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and ensure proper accruals for unprocessed invoices.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

Successful Candidate Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable processes, including invoice validation and reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Philippines tax regulations (BIR filings, VAT, withholding tax).
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP 4HANA experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, complex tasks accurately and efficiently.
