Accounting Intern, Credit Management

Onsite- Ortigas, Pasig City

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounting Intern, Credit Management to join our team. As Accounting Intern, you will executes all activities as defined in the service level agreements for selected local companies reporting to the Finance Manager.

Your main responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate credit limit of customers using internal and external sources
• Propose new credit limits to Credit & Collection
• Maintain credit limit related master data
• Propose initial credit limit for new customers
• Strong cooperation with Order to Cash Credit & Collection team
• Evaluate customers creditworthiness and assign risk categories
• Regular monitoring of customers’ risk with external monitoring agencies
• Perform credit management related reporting activities
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal partners
• Following standard credit processes and procedures, assess the risk of offering credit to new and existing customers
• Manage credit risk within a determined threshold
  
  

Your background:

• Currently taking up Associate’s or bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting, Business Management or any related studies
• With internship requirement of minimum of 300 hours and is amenable for possible extension
• Possesses knowledge of best practices and relevant practices, systems in Credit Management
• “Can do” mentality, problem solving attitude, “no blame” culture
• With Keen attention to details
• Able to work against deadlines and service level agreements
• Adhering to internal policies, deadlines, guidelines of operation
• Ensures engaging environment, communication
• Communicative, people oriented personality
• Good team player and also able to decide independently
