Accounting Assistant

We are looking for an office-based Accounting Assistant who will assist the Accounting Supervisor in the performance of the accounting function.

Job Description

• Perform the daily accounting activities (recording of accounting entries, handling of receivables and payables, cash reconciliation, etc.)
• Provide support to the Accounting Supervisor in ensuring accurate financial data is recorded and timely report creation
• Add value to the business by monitoring collections and providing support to the safekeeping of internal expenses in the company.
• All other related tasks, duties and special projects that may be assigned from time to time as directed by the Accounting Supervisor
• 6 months to 1 year of experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy
• Numerical acumen, with accuracy and attention to detail
• Competent problem-solver with a good sense of humor and works well with different personalities
