In strategic workforce planning at PwC, you will focus on analysing and forecasting the organisations current and future workforce needs. You will play a crucial role in analysing if the organisation has the right people with the right skills in the right positions to achieve its strategic objectives. Additionally, you will analyse data, forecast future needs, develop strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise the workforce and drive organisational success.

The Opportunity

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

You’ll focus on ensuring that resources of suitable skills and caliber are available for tasks and activities as required as well as managing the education, planning, and skills enhancement associated with resources.. 



Responsibilities

  • Drive staffing and deployment to balance workload, optimize utilization, promote flexibility, and support broad development while aligning with firm and client needs. 
  • Make data-informed staffing decisions considering career goals, diversity, and development. 
  • Utilize global talent pools, support onboarding, and manage immigration and global deployment logistics. 
  • Oversee budget, workforce planning, and team utilization to meet retention, diversity, and development targets. 
  • Advise leaders on talent strategy, succession planning, performance, and workforce challenges. 
  • Independently resolve team issues, leverage senior associates, and coach staff. 



What You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related field 
  • Minimum 9 years progressive experience in workforce management and talent deployment, preferably in consulting or technology 
  • Excellent communication and consultative problem-solving abilities

  • Proven success in workforce planning aligned with business goals 
  • Experience in consulting or technology firms, adept at navigating complex environments 
  • Strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership skills 
  • Understanding firm economics and performance management.
