This role will be part of the Supply Chain function within Boston Scientific (BSC) Philippines. The Supply Chain Analyst is specifically responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing activities related to inventory management activities across the country. This includes optimizing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and effectively managing consignment stock to enhance customer service.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for field inventory management (including consignment management), ensuring inventory plan is aligned with business plan.
Collaborating with the cross functional team to support and meet the country’s inventory requirement.
Ensure the operational activities are following regulatory, quality, and financial policies.
Lead and drive regional and local initiatives to drive process excellence within the country.
Overall lead for field inventory management in alignment with company’s policies.
Key Activities
Maintain optimum inventory levels to meet the planned DIOH (Days Inventory on Hand) at consignment.
Ensure stock accuracy on consignment accounts through execution of consignment count as per count plan and timely reconciliation of count results with sales and customer service.
Establish and Review field stock level (PAR level) for consignment accounts on a regular basis.
Monitor field inventory movement for both long-term and short-term consignment.
Reduction of slow moving or nonmoving inventory to reduce inventory reserves.
Manage product expiry in the field to minimize inventory scrap.
Movement of inventory within consignment accounts.
Execute field inventory strategy to drive field inventory optimization and improve customer service level.
Working with service providers for timely and accurate delivery of products.
Identify, document, and coordinate the disposal of expired or damaged inventory in line with company and Philippines regulatory guidelines.
Define and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident reporting, escalation, and resolution.
Ensure 3PL warehouse and distribution activities are aligned with BSC Quality Agreement.
Drive process improvements to improve operational efficiencies.
Support order management activities (whenever required).
Ensure all the products are pulled back from consignment before their expiry date.Reconcile all the consignment inventory and further actions like invoicing, scrapping etc.
Prepare monthly reports and dashboards.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistics or any relevant degree.
Overall 7+ years of experience in supply chain and at least 3 years of working experience in Medical equipment / Pharmaceuticals company for field inventory management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to organize and prioritize work.
Demonstrate advance level of computer literacy (Excel skills) with high numerical accuracy.
Good in-depth knowledge of analyzing and working as a team to solve issues and provide solutions.
Experience in working in SAP will be added advantage.
Experience in process improvement projects and usage of problem solving tools.
