Work Setup: Hybrid - 3x a Week Onsite at our Ortigas Office


The SENIOR ART DIRECTOR is a strategic visionary responsible for shaping the visual direction and ensuring the delivery of exceptional and cohesive visual campaigns. They lead the creative team at a senior level, hold client relationships, and provide expertise in aligning creative efforts with strategic objectives. This role demands advanced creative and technical expertise, leadership, strategic thinking, and innovative problem-solving capabilities.


The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) Creative Conceptualization

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative and compelling visual concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Translate creative briefs into visual strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Vs. more junior positions, a Senior Art Director should be able to conceptualize ideas in a shorter period of time as well as lead brainstorming sessions in order to come up with ideas that are strategically on point

2.) Visual Campaign Execution

  • Oversee the execution of visual elements, including graphics, images, and multimedia content, to support marketing campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Ensure that designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively convey the intended message.
  • Vs. more junior positions, a Senior Art Director should possess Mastery of Art Direction. They should not just have an eye for detail, but they should have a refined taste in art direction.
  • Should be able to lead the development of campaigns or projects.
  • Should be able to elevate and improve the quality of outputs from the junior members of the creative team.

3.) Mentorship and Collaboration

  • Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative team members to guide and support the development of creative assets.
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to junior team members to help them grow in their roles.
  • Vs. more junior positions, a Senior Art Director should be able to lead the team in continuing the work in the absence of an ACD or a CD

4.) Trend Analysis and Innovation

  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Propose creative approaches and solutions that enhance campaign performance and brand impact.
  • Vs. more junior positions, a Senior Art Director helps ensure that all of their brands are in sync with the latest art and design trends to ensure visual vitality

5.) Client and Stakeholder Communication

  • Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand project objectives and provide creative solutions that meet their needs.
  • Present and explain creative concepts to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback for refinement.
  • As day-to-day champions, a Senior Art Director should be able to foster a good working relationship with and understanding of their client


We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Has Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier).
  • Is Skilled in developing and executing creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography.
  • Is an Effective communicator, both in presenting creative concepts and providing feedback to team members.
  • Possesses Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to guide junior team members.
  • Is Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Has Effective negotiation skills and resource management.
  • Has Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Has Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting thoughts, ideas, and data
  • Has Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence with the ability to empathize, listen actively, and build strong relationships and be customer centric.
  • Demonstrates ability to work and communicate effectively in teams, collaborate with colleagues, and build consensus to become better together.
  • Is Able to Lead The Change and adapt to changing business needs, shifting priorities, and new technologies. Innovation Oriented and uses creative problem-solving skills to identify new opportunities and enhance business outcomes.

  • Has Ideation (Storytelling/Narrative) Skills: Ability to come up with a clear and compelling concept/message/story/big idea for any brand.
  • Has Ideation (Creative Data Tech) Skills: Ability to bring to life said brand concepts/messages/stories/big ideas in ATL and Digital platforms including but not limited to TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, On-Ground, FB, YT, IG, TIKTOK, Web, Search, AR, VR, ER etc.
  • Has Execution (Art Direction) Skills: Ability to craft visuals for ATL and all types of digital platforms including but not limited to (logo and branding - social cards - storyboard)
  • Has Presentation Skills: Ability to present ideas and executions clearly, creatively, and compellingly to teammates, line managers, to internal stakeholders, and to clients.
  • Has Work Ethic: Ability to both work independently and work within a team. Must be able to embrace feedback and builds from teammates, line managers, internal stakeholders, and clients. Must be organized and efficient.


Required Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree preferably in Advertising, Communication Arts, Journalism, Creative Writing, Literature, or any related course.
  • 3-5 years experience as an advertising Art Director or 1-2 years experience of Senior Art Director.
  • Must pass the NuWorks Art Test.
