Research Analyst

Context

SYSTRA Philippines is in need of research professionals with experience in the development of transport infrastructure projects in both local and international setting. The role is expected to perform all tasks necessary to support the consulting activities of SYSTRA Philippines in all existing and future projects, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in undertaking additional tasks as required by project demands, and ensure the successful execution and delivery of the project objectives.

Missions/Main Duties

The Research Analyst shall be responsible for primary and secondary data gathering and analysis of

information related to the infrastructure industry. In addition to research and analysis work, the

Research Analyst shall also work hand in hand with the team of project development specialists and

transport planners in developing infrastructure projects for both public and private clients. The

Research Analyst shall also be responsible for maintaining a library of data and information

gathered that can be used and accessed easily within the firm.

Key Tasks

• Conduct data and information gathering from a variety of sources and on any other subjects as required by the firm. This includes both qualitative research and shall not be limited to digital research method. Other research methods shall also be undertaken aas may be required in the procurement of the required data.
• Provide analysis and synthesis of data and information
• Conduct field/on-site research work as may be necessary.
• Develop and maintain regular contacts in the infrastructure sector.
• Prepare reports, discussion papers, presentations and any other reporting documents as may be required.
• Attend client meetings and presentations.
• Perform any other tasks as required by the company.
  
  

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Economics, Engineering and
  
  

• Strong research and quantitative skills, analytical aptitude and able to analyse statistical
  
  

• Keen interest in the infrastructure sector
• Excellent communication skills for primary data gathering work
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Suites, market databases, and
  
  

• Close attention to detail and able to work under pressure
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
