Job Description

Chefs Secret Inc. is hiring an R&D Commis Chef / Prep Cook to assist in our test kitchen. You will handle ingredient prep, execute recipe trials, and support the development of new culinary products and menus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prep Work: Measure, chop, and prepare ingredients for research and development trials.
  • Recipe Testing: Execute test recipes precisely according to R&D specifications.
  • Data Logging: Record exact weights, cooking times, and yield data during testing.
  • Kitchen Upkeep: Maintain strict sanitation, cleanliness, and organization in the test kitchen.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of kitchen prep or commis chef experience.
  • Culinary degree or certificate is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise formulas.
  • Basic understanding of food science or interest in culinary innovation.
