We are seeking Learning Experience Designer to take on the roles of writer, editor, instructional designer, and project manager. They are responsible for creating impactful learning and adapting scripts from SMEs into finished, polished, professional training, applying instructional design principles and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting engaging, user-centered content that enhances learner retention and drives performance outcomes.
WhatYou’llDo
Researches and writes as needed on identified topics with defined scope in collaboration with an SME.
Shapes scripts to be appropriate in tone for identified audience.
Designs and develops eLearning courses using sound instructional design techniques.
Ideates and integrates creative engagement into all courses.
Project manages course development from analysis to implementation and evaluation.
Adapts scripts from expert authors into finished, polished, professional courses, applying instructional design principles and standards.
Designs and develops online learning solutions using audio, visual, and multimedia assets to enhance the learner’s experience.
Collaborates with internal team members, external clients and content development partners to create world-class online training using sound instructional design techniques
Writes compelling stories and scenarios to support and enhance course content
Prepare and conduct interviews on course topics and select appropriate footage for course content.
Works to establish guidelines, standards project schedules, communicating progress with team members through course launch and suggesting necessary improvements.
Evaluates and confirms learning objectives through ongoing needs assessments.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher level staff.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Other duties as assigned.
WhatYou’llNeed
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Instructional Systems Design (ISD), including designing and developing eLearning and instructional materials.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Software; proficiency in Adobe suite is a plus.
Experience in the development of eLearning initiatives; working collaboratively with internal and external team members, stakeholders and partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Natural skill and enthusiasm working as a member of a collaborative team.
Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, highly organized and committed to quality.
Positive, problem-solving attitude. Comfort working in a demanding, fast-paced environment while meeting challenging deadlines.
Creativity and imagination regarding course design is a must.
Ability to work during 5:00 am to 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time and other hours as needed.
