Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Innovation Specialist to join our Business Innovation team.
This role is responsible for supporting cross-functional projects that drive business process improvements and organizational innovation. This role works closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather business requirements, develop functional documentation, support system implementation, coordinate testing activities, facilitate end-user training, and ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving business processes through collaboration, innovation, and technology.
Main Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Collaborate with business stakeholders, executives, and project teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
Develop functional, non-functional, and technical requirement documentation for implementation.
Define acceptance criteria and work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Prepare test plans, test cases, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and quality assurance activities.
Create release plans, release notes, user guides, and training materials.
Conduct system training, rollouts, and provide ongoing support to end-users.
Gather and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Project Management
Support the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of cross-functional business innovation initiatives.
Collaborate with the Director of Business Innovation to identify opportunities for process improvement and organizational efficiency.
Apply project management and change management principles to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
Facilitate project meetings, monitor project milestones, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
Operaitonal Excellence
Contribute to initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and overall business performance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the BPO industry.
At least 2 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, preferably within a PMO function.
Experience in requirements gathering, solution development, business and system documentation, test planning, and user documentation.
Experience in Project Management is an advantage; willingness to be cross-skilled in Project Management is required.
Business Analysis training is required; certification is an advantage.
Good understanding of BPO best practices related to continuous improvement, analytics, and operational excellence.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to deliver both short-term and long-term business solutions.
Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Open to work on certain schedule
Mid-shift: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM (subject to change upon business needs) amenable to adjust schedule within the 4pm – 3am time
Hybrid work set-up at Tower 1, Rockwell Business Center, Ortigas Pasig City (2x a week), but subject to adjustment (executive visits – mostly this will be on a full onsite set-up)
