Bookkeeper

Were looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with 12 years of accounting experience in an IT company. Youll be part of our finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring our financial data is accurate, up to date, and compliant with company policies.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique financial processes of an IT environment including project-based billing, software subscriptions, and service contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Handle billing, invoicing, and collection tracking for IT services and projects.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis for management.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure timely posting of transactions.
• Support payroll preparation, expense reimbursements, and statutory remittances.
• Maintain organized digital accounting records and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams for financial matters.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 12 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in an IT company or tech environment.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or Xero).
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Familiar with invoicing models for IT services (e.g., retainers, time-and-materials, or subscription-based).
• High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
