Staff Accountant I ONSITE I Night Shift I Negotiable

• Prepare and post monthly entries for recurring and ad hoc transactions. Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and precision.

• Perform complex reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial modeling to support business decisions.

• Utilize advanced technical tools to automate workflows, improve reporting, and enhance data integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.

• Translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

* Active CPA license with  5+ years of experience including a combination of public accounting (required) and similar industry experience (i.e. Engineering, Design, Professional Services).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Proven experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis.

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency with advanced Excel functions and familiarity with ERP systems.

• Demonstrated analytical ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear recommendations.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

SYSTEMS ERP experience with Deltek Vision and or Vantage point preferred.

• Knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis and automation.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
