Job Description
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries in SAP with accuracy and compliance
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain account schedules
- Execute accruals, cost allocations, and other GL adjustments
- Review trial balances and analyse variances or fluctuations
- Support financial reporting, consolidation, and account analysis
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders across EU
A Successful Senior GL Analyst Should Have
- A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in general ledger or R2R accounting
- Strong experience in month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Background in shared services or multinational companies preferred
- Had prior process improvements or transformation initiative
- Experience with SAP/S4HANA or ERP systems is an advantage
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of R2R processes and effective communication skills
- Exposure to global finance operations and leadership
- Career growth within a large-scale shared services environment
