As a Security Specialist (Clark) , you will play a key role in supporting the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) by ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations, promoting safety awareness, and identifying risks across airport operations and facilities. This role contributes directly to maintaining a safe, compliant, and proactive safety culture within 1Aviation.

What You Will Do

• Ensures that 1Aviation’s Mission, Vision and Values are achieved.
• Complies with applicable regulations and standards of 1Aviaiton
• Gathers, collects and collates security related reports and information that is vital in the ground operation for evaluation, analysis and appropriate action.
• Respond to incident / accident requiring investigative works, ensuring collection of evidence, facts and information is performed to determine root cause and submission of reports within the specified time line.
• Program investigative activities, monitors and evaluates challenges and secure appropriate resources to complete programmed task to include coordination with HR team relative to employees considered for employment that needs to undergo background investigation.
• Perform background checks and ensure that employees has signed consent for such purpose as part of the compliance with the law and regulatory requirement for airport pass processing.
• Submit completed employees sensitive personal information form for safekeeping by the security department administrative office / division
• Conducts monitoring at CIL (Check-In Counter) boarding gates, build up, breakdown areas, cargo and catering facilities to detect, identify security related infractions pertaining to non- compliance with procedures relating to check/hold baggage, cargo, mail and catering stores security.
• If certified and released by regulating authority or company, may conduct Aviation Security Awareness Training to all 1Aviation personnel
• Collate reports pertaining to baggage / cargo (damage, offloaded, left behind, misrouted, missing,
  
  

pilfered) for evaluation and analysis.

• Perform liaising activities with police and regulatory authorities and other entities with regard to 1Aviaiton security operational requirement as necessary.
• Conduct security inspection and test to ensure that 1Aviaiton contracted security personnel (as applicable) were able to implement security measures in accordance with the regulation and standards, at their assigned ground operational areas / facilities.
• Prepares annual budgetary requirement for the implementation of investigative and liaising activities, review expenditures on the dispensation of resources within the allowed limit subject to usual accounting rules and regulations.
• Maintain integrity of employees Sensitive Personal Information Form being safe kept, ensure that local and national clearances are regularly updated in compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Maintain records of employees, separated, dismiss, or forced to resign due to conviction of crimes
  
  

involving moral turpitude for STOP Listing at Pass Control Office.

• Review INTELEX, CPAR and SCORECARD, taking particular attention to security related breaches for the information of the Security Manager and coordination with Security Officer for appropriate action.
• Formulate standard presentation and reporting system thru the use of excel and power point presentation, e-mails, and SMS in all stations under the account of 1Aviaiton on security related
  
  

occurrences such as but not limited to mishandled, damaged, misrouted, left behind, missing, pilfered for evaluation, trend analysis and appropriate action.

• Can be utilize as a driver as necessary.
• Perform other duties and function as the Security Manager may direct
  
  

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background & Experience

• College Graduate preferably a holder of BS in Criminology
• Airline/airport operations is preferred
• With background on Security aspect of airport/airline industry / Groundhandling operations.
• Can drive a 4-wheel vehicle, Professional Driver’s license is required
