Responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day execution of internal business system-related initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. The role serves as a key business partner, collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, shape demand, and translate requirements into effective system solutions. This position is accountable for business partnership, initiative and delivery management, and domain ownership within Internal Business Systems. As the designated lead for assigned domains, the role ensures strong alignment between business priorities and system capabilities, drives disciplined execution across initiatives, and promotes continues improvement to enhance operational efficiency and value delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for internal business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations, requirements, and project deliverables.
Work closely with cross-departmental teams to facilitate communication between business units and DTO, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Coordinating with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of third-party systems and services with core organizational systems.
Handle the day-to-day management of supplier’s contracts, negotiating terms, monitoring annual budgets, and ensuring spending remains within the allocated budget.
Relationship Management
Ensure the continuous and consistent delivery of quality DTO services by managing the varied interactions between the business units and DTO. Such interactions may include (but not limited to) facilitation and/or coordination for projects and change management, as well as providing consultation and support during service disruptions caused by high-impact incidents.
Work with the Project Management Office for steering, ranking, and maintaining the business project pipeline.
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to identify opportunities for system improvements and drive operational efficiency.
Project Planning & Delivery and Operational Stability
Manage and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of internal business systems-related projects within the organization, ensuring they align with business objectives and strategic goals.
Monitor the progress of the projects and initiatives, addressing any risks or issues that may impact delivery timelines or quality.
Function as Scrum Master when applicable for dedicated teams, ensuring Agile methodologies are followed and promoting collaboration and iterative delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and implement solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
Collaborate with technical teams to assist in the execution of system integrations, ensuring that integration efforts are aligned with the internal business systems strategy.
Provide oversight for integration projects, ensuring seamless execution of technical solutions and smooth integration with existing systems.
Provide assistance and guidance in maintaining the operational continuity of internal business systems and ensuring that integration is carried out with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Evaluate project proposals, offering insights and recommendations to inform decision-making. Engage in the steering committee and similar governance forums to support progress oversight and contribute to post-implementation reviews.
Team Leadership and Management
Lead and manage the project team ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and resource allocation.
Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members, helping them grow professionally and enhancing team performance.
Guide the Business Analyst in understanding business requirements and ensuring that those needs are met through system solutions and integrations.
Reporting and Documentation
Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all systems-related projects, integrations, and operational activities.
Provide regular updates on the status of initiatives, including progress, risks, and resolutions.
Maintain clear and accurate records of business requirements, system specifications, and integration activities for future reference.

At least 5 years in IT delivery, project management, or systems management

Aviation or Travel Industry experience
