The Program Manager executes and manages strategic initiatives throughout the company; designs and implements project lifecycle management based on established framework and governance structure and ensures that all projects adhere to such.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Program Management
    • Executes program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives and strategies
    • Plans the overall program and monitors progress to make sure that key milestones are being met across the various projects within the program
    • Maintains a fully integrated, cross-functional program view while balancing technical and business needs
    • Leads the development and continual refinement of program, project, and resource management protocols, tools and services to better suit organizational requirements.
    • Analyzes, evaluates, and minimizes program risks, produces program status reports for management and stakeholders
    • Oversees multiple project teams and ensures that program goals are achieved
    • Works closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives within the program
    • Facilitates the creation of business cases and/or project scope to analyze feasibility of a proposed initiative and make recommendations to Management.
    • Ensures adoption and implementation of appropriate program and project management methodology/ies, i.e. Waterfall, Agile, and oversees project management coaching,
    • Advises and assists the project teams on the best use of program, project, and resource management disciplines and approaches in the project
  • People Management
    • Coaches, mentors, motivates and assists the Project Managers and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work and provide feedback for career growth
    • Maintains effective communication channels and networks. Opens and nurtures healthy communication and feedback channels across all levels of the organization
    • Assists in the recruitment, screening, and selection of department personnel.
  • Vendor Management
    • Sources/ liaises with possible vendors arising from the project requirements. Manages relationships with a range of internal and external suppliers, defines and documents requirements through the preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Information (RFI) and acceptable service level agreements/ performance metrics
    • Develops vendor selection and evaluation criteria, prepares benchmarking studies, operational viability, organizational fit and cost and scenario analysis based on proposals received and negotiation with third party to ensure cost efficiency and sustainability.
    • Partners with appropriate stakeholders to define appropriate negotiation strategies with third parties while leveraging on the strength of the company. Assists in contract review and ensures that all aspects of defined requirements have been duly addressed and the company’s interests are duly protected.
    • Liaises with and/or directs third party to ensure the delivery of the outsourced product/ service within the agreed scope, quality, time and cost.
  • Safety Management
    • To participate actively in CEB SMS by ensuring that highest reasonable level of safety performance is achieved by complying with all applicable safety and security laws, regulations and standards including CEB policies and procedures and by reporting all accidents, incidents and/or hazards.
Required Educational Background

  • Graduate of Business, Economics, Management Engineering or Industrial Engineering from a reputable school
  • Strong PM background (PM certifications a plus)
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical project management, leadership (influencing, communication – written and oral), and strategy and business management skills.
  • Highly analytical and with broad experience in managing cross-functional teams in a culturally diverse working environment
