As the Occupational Health & Industrial Hygiene Lead, you will lead and drive OHS and Food Safety Compliance for all Business Units under 2GO Group nationwide. Your role will be instrumental in supporting legal and regulatory compliances of all 2GO Business Units and in promoting a culture of sustained OHS and Food Safety Compliance within 2GO while delivering on our objectives and targets.

You will also lead Business Units through OHS and Food Safety Compliance journey by providing assistance in meeting OHS Program compliances and supporting competency development of all employees on OHS and Food Safety.

You will provide guidance and validation on the risk assessments for Occupational Health & Safety (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Controls - HIRAC) and Food Safety. Your role will rely on strong leadership, communication, analytical and technical skills to drive performance around business units deliverables on OHS and Food Safety requirements

What You’ll Do, Your Mission

  • Drive compliance with Food Safety & Industrial Hygiene laws to avoid fines, penalties, and reputational damage on permits and licenses (Customers - Driving Effectiveness, Creating Business Value):
  • Sustain and manage 100% Food Safety & Industrial Hygiene permits/ licenses compliance such as the FDA License to Operate, GWP/ HACCP certification
  • Build capability through stakeholder training and competency development (Customers - Driving Effectiveness, Creating Business Value):
  • Conduct targeted Food Safety & IH training to elevate organizational awareness, reduce human-error related risks, and enhance overall compliance culture
  • Strengthen customer confidence through audit readiness and transparent communication (Customers - Driving Effectiveness, Creating Business Value):
  • Proactively prepare for customer, regulatory, and third‑party audits.
  • Communicate compliance status, risks, and improvements to internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and demonstrate operational excellence
  • Oversee Food Defense and Vulnerability Assessment Programs (Process - Managing Risks):
  • Implement and monitor Food Safety & Industrial Hygiene Programs and develop and periodically review the GOP/GMP/GWP/ HACCP, conducting threat and vulnerability assessments to minimize risks of intentional adulteration.
  • Conduct regular Food Safety and Industrial Hygiene risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations (Process - Managing Risks):
  • Sustain and manage Food Safety & Industrial Hygiene related incidents thru identification of critical risks during EHS walkthrough inspections
  • Develop and execute response plans for contamination events, occupational exposure incidents, and product quality emergencies to minimize operational and reputational impacts.
  • Lead continuous improvement and risk‑mitigation initiatives using data‑driven insights (Process – Managing Risks)
  • Analyze Food Safety & Industrial Hygiene performance trends, non‑conformances, near‑misses, and audit results to identify systemic issues.
  • Develop and implement risk‑based improvement projects (e.g., process redesign, engineering controls, enhanced sanitation protocols, supplier quality improvements).
  • Monitor effectiveness of implemented actions through KPIs and drive preventive actions before issues escalate.

You’ll thrive in this role if you

Educational Background

Have a Bachelor's Degree, a Technical/Engineering University degree in Logistics Management or relevant discipline who has at least 5 years working experience in a manufacturing-based environment with background in logistics / supply chain industry, operations and team management. Background in cold storage operations is an advantage.

  • Good knowledge of applicable legal and other requirements related to occupational safety & health and environment management

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Commercial and operational awareness of key operational performance factors of Supply and Cold Chain operations
  • Knowledge and experience on Quality Management Systems (ISO9001:2015), Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO45001:2018), Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001:2015) and Integrated Management Systems Auditing
  • Good Warehousing Practices (GWP)/ Good Operating Practices (GOP)/ SSOP
  • Capability to map process and develop/ review SOPs/ Wis and other documented information such as the QPRR, HIRAC and EAIA
  • Licensure / Certification Required
