Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops and executes strategic security solutions to counteract current and emerging cyber threats, aligning with the organizations risk appetite and business goals.
• Leads the implementation and deployment of security technologies and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, and more.
• Leads identity and access management for third-party collaborators, business partners, and freelancers, ensuring secure and authorized access.
• Conduct thorough reviews and documentation of perimeter security functions to fortify the organizations defenses.
• Oversees the continuous monitoring of security threats and vulnerabilities, leveraging tools and resources to detect and mitigate potential breaches.
• Collaborate on root cause analyses of security incidents and recommend actionable improvements.
• Investigates solution architecture and recommend enhancements.
• Promotes security awareness and education across the organization to cultivate a culture of security.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• CISSP/CISM /CISA or other similar IT Security certification is preferred.
• Must have s trong understanding of identity and access management, security metrics, and perimeter security.
• Must have i n-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards to design and implement effective security solutions .
• Must have f amiliarity with perimeter security functions, methodologies, and technologies.
• Must have understanding of solution architecture investigation techniques, logical and physical, to identify security gaps.
• Must have strong background in monitoring and reporting on key security metrics , reviewing and documenting perimeter security functions , and in incident detection, escalation, and response .
• Experience of 5 years managing a team.
• Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
