As a Lead Cargo Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of cargo operations during your assigned shift. You will support the Cargo Supervisor, Duty Manager, and Station Head in delivering safe, compliant, and timely cargo handling—while maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Ensure that 1Aviation’s Vision, Mission, and Values are achieved.
• Promote and ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Security, and Customer Service standards based on regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Supervise cargo acceptance processes and issuance of Air Waybills (AWB) in accordance with carrier procedures.
• Review cargo booking advice and ensure proper handling of booked cargoes.
• Ensure strict compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations and handling requirements.
• Coordinate with the Centralized Load Controller for load planning and relay final cargo loads.
• Prepare sales reports and handle cash collections for safekeeping and bank remittances.
• Ensure all loaded cargoes are properly manifested and complete with required documentation for turnover.
• Handle customer complaints and service-related concerns when necessary.
• Supervise checking, monitoring, and reporting of incoming cargoes and cargo irregularities.
• Monitor cargo release and take appropriate action on unclaimed cargoes, including recommendation for disposal when applicable.
• Conduct shift briefings to cascade updates on procedures and work instructions when assigned as Ramp Representative.
• Ensure proper turnover of cargoes and completeness of documents to DS-Ramp to maximize cargo loading efficiency.
• Identify safety hazards and take immediate action to eliminate unsafe conditions or practices.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Station Head, Duty Manager, or Cargo Supervisor.
  
  

An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background & Experience

• Graduate of any 4-year degree course
• Minimum of 1 year experience in cargo operations or a related field

• Strong command of the English language (oral and written)
• Proven ability to work well in a team with emerging leadership capability
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
