Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies during month-end closing and review financial statements for accuracy.
  • Perform detailed analysis of account balances and provide sign-off for final submission to Group Reporting.
  • Deliver accurate performance reporting focused on Balance Sheet and P&L, including commentary on variances and trends.
  • Resolve complex accounting issues and ensure proper treatment of all financial statement line items.
  • Act as main contact for Regional CFO regarding entity financial statements compliance and reasonableness.
  • Lead pre-close meetings and coordinate with Finance Operations teams (AP, OtC, RtR, FP&A) to ensure timely and accurate closing.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet controlling, monitor discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Address inquiries from Group Reporting and auditors; ensure compliance documentation for audits.
  • Drive implementation of group accounting policies and support development of new processes to improve financial controlling.
  • Partner with Finance teams globally to enhance concepts and processes for continuous improvement.


The Successful Applicant

A Successful Financial Controller Should Have

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Management, or related field; professional certifications (CPA, CMA, MBA, etc.) preferred.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance, including accounting operations, controlling, analysis, and reporting; Big 4 audit background is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with tools like Power BI, SAC, Macros is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP and SAP-BI expertise required; S/4 Hana experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in shared services and multicultural environments; flexible with work shifts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; ability to translate financial data into clear insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for financial analysis and variance interpretation.
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and work effectively in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative team player with a growth mindset.
