This position is placed in the Philippines Reporting and Compliance Department, which is part of Vestas Shared Services A/S - ROHQ under the CFO organization. This position will report to the Head of Compliance in SSC based in the Philippines.
The department is responsible for financial reporting and compliance, including local compliance with Philippine rules and regulations, for the 2 Vestas legal entities/companies in the Philippines. This department works with the Finance Shared Services based in the Philippines that provides support on the processes of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Intercompany accounting.

Responsibilities
This role is primarily responsible for VAT refund activities:
- Tax Cases
- Input VAT Write-Off
- General BIR Errands
- Tax Clearance
- COR Updates
- ATP Update and Invoice/Receipt Booklet Printing
- Other BIR Errands
This role may also provide support as a secondary responsibility or back-up on the following activities:
- Month-end closing - FBT Accrual, Tax Reclass, VAT Provision, Monthly Tax Calculation
- Monthly Reporting - VAT ageing, BPC specifications
- Annual Reporting - Annual Reporting Package Specification
- PH Tax Compliance - ITR, VAT, Comp, and Exp. WHT, FBT, RPT, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in any Accounting or Finance courses
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in Value Added Tax (VAT), AP/AR/ Intercompany, or any equivalent finance functions
- With good critical and relevant financial analysis skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience in using ERP (SAP) systems
- BPO/Shared Service experience is beneficial
Competencies
- Has an adequate finance, audit, or accounting background
- Has knowledge of accounting guidelines and principles, such as IAS and GAAP, and VAT filing and controlling
- Attention to documentation and details to support VAT claims
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
- Good at communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering
