Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including all transactional tasks across assigned hotels and entities
• Ensure accurate, timely and complete processing of day-to-day transactions
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting
• Review and validate P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with policies
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes
• Provide financial analysis and commentary to support decision-making
• Liaise with hotel leadership, commercial teams, and AU finance
• Coordinate audit processes and statutory requirements
• Manage finance systems, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as the escalation point for complex finance issues
• Support finance transformation and shared services optimisation
• Assist in any Ad Hoc tasks as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills
• High proficiency in Excel and financial systems
• Strong understanding of internal controls and governance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Leadership and coaching capability
• Commercially minded and detail-oriented
• Calm, confident, and solutions-focused
• High integrity and professional judgement
• Strong people leader and mentor
• Process-driven with continuous improvement mindset
• Resilient under pressure, especially during close cycles
• Collaborative and stakeholder-focused
• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in:
• Hotel finance or multi-entity finance environments
• Prior experience managing:
• Month-end close
• Audit processes
• Finance teams or shared services
• Hospitality or asset-heavy industry experience preferred
