Ext Manufacturing Finance Controller

Finance SSC, Controlling & Reporting. The Controlling and Reporting group is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. This includes compliance with the Companys Financial Guidelines while ensuring active engagement with stakeholders. The group also acts as a business partner for Regional, Project, or Group stakeholders and ensures that financial activities are driven by sound business cases that can and will be followed up on.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in the factory report and a high-quality budget based on well-documented assumptions
• Ensure that our forecast is highly accurate and consistent, with all variances and adjustments tied to clear underlying business drivers
• A value adding Business Partner to the COO Area and ensure a fact-based, root cause-driven performance reporting
• Perform adhoc reports based on business needs
• Execute the relevant controlling tasks fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Financial Guidelines, and make sure controls and applicable compliance requirements are in place
• Ensure timely update/s of Process Documentation (SOP)
• Perform Controls and Compliance activities
• Identify, suggest, and implement improvements on current tasks, and participate in Global optimization projects
• Engage with appropriate team members and stakeholders to address operational problems with both speed and quality. Propose adjustments as necessary
  
  

Qualifications

• A graduate of BS Accountancy, Management Accounting, or any Finance or Business-related courses
• With certifications (i.e., CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.)
• 5-7 years of experience in a general accounting background, controlling and reporting function role, or from a relevant role
• Exposure to BPO / Shared service environment
• Experience in working with multi-cultural stakeholders
• With knowledge in using ERP (SAP) systems
• High proficiency in analyzing data and communicating results through presentations
• Business partnering experience
  
  

Competencies

• High-level experience in (1) Controlling Actual Financials, (2) Forecasting or Budgeting
• Demonstrates deep, specialized knowledge of accounting concepts along with keen analytical skills for financial analysis
• Ability to develop financial projections and build financial models
• Efficient documentation and process mapping experience
• Resourceful and driven, comfortable learning and contributing in complex, high-demand work environments
• Knowledge in using the ERP System.
• Advanced-level MS Office user. Macros
• Skilled in delivering presentations, communicating effectively, managing stakeholders, and partnering with teams, including simplifying numbers and data for those without finance backgrounds
