The role is responsible for supporting country-level pricing activities for global and network bids by analyzing customer RFQ requirements, preparing pricing inputs, and completing pricing templates in accordance with regional and global guidelines. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, timely submission, and effective stakeholder coordination throughout the quotation process.
Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Bid Support
Provide operational support for country-level pricing activities across Global and Network Bids.
Review and understand customer RFQ packages, tender documents, and quotation requirements.
Analyze customer requirements and ensure pricing submissions align with RFQ specifications and business guidelines.
Prepare and complete Integrated Pricing Templates (IPT) and other bid-related pricing documents.
Develop accurate pricing inputs utilizing approved pricing tools and reference data.
Pricing Analysis & Template Management
Populate and maintain pricing information in IPT/master templates.
Utilize pricing and tariff tools including: MTS, FOBDEL Sheets, ICC Tariff Sheets, Other approved pricing applications and databases
Validate pricing assumptions, service requirements, and commercial inputs before submission.
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all pricing documentation.
Review & Quality Assurance
Submit completed IPT/master templates to the Regional OCC Lead for review and sanity checks.
Incorporate feedback, recommendations, and guideline updates provided by regional stakeholders.
Ensure all pricing submissions comply with regional, country, and global pricing governance standards.
Perform quality checks to minimize pricing errors and ensure submission readiness.
Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with Country OCC teams, Regional OCC Leads, Regional Head of Pricing (HOP), and bid requestors.
Clarify RFQ requirements and address pricing-related queries during the quotation process.
Provide timely updates on quotation progress and completion status.
Notify relevant stakeholders upon successful completion and submission of pricing deliverables.
Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Adhere to established pricing processes, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational guidelines.
Maintain documentation and audit trails for pricing submissions.
Support initiatives to improve pricing accuracy, efficiency, and process standardization.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Ocean Freight pricing, or commercial support functions.
Experience working with regional or global stakeholders.
Familiarity with pricing tools, tariff structures, and quotation templates.
Strong Data analysis capabilities and attention to detail
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication
Ensure process compliance and quality assurance
Strong Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
