Job Description

Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and medallion architecture.
Oversee the development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Ensure robust data governance and compliance with industry standards.
Optimize the performance and scalability of cloud data platforms and SQL-based solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data engineering initiatives with business goals.
Provide technical leadership in enterprise data modeling and performance tuning.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data engineering practices.
Mentor and lead a team of data engineers to achieve operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Executive Director of Data Platform and Engineering should have:

Strong expertise in data engineering, enterprise data modeling, and medallion architecture.
Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data platforms.
In-depth knowledge of data governance and performance tuning.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
Experience working in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry is an advantage.
