Job Description

To ensure accurate and timely recording, analysis, and control of inventory and cost-related

transactions by managing product costing, intercompany costing, purchases, landed costs, and inventory adjustments. The role supports the integrity of financial and inventory records through proper reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting, while contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls within the Finance Department.

Compute product cost and process intercompany costing.

Update necessary details for item receipts in the system.

Record import and local purchases of goods in the system.

Perform invoice matching and verification (e.g., purchase orders, Shipment arrival form, and invoices)

Journalize the variance between the invoice and the actual items received.

Recording of DN Settlement through discount and FOC

Allocate landed costs and update cost sheets for reconciliation.

Record inventory adjustments (additions and reductions).

Provide unit cost for Employees In-house transfer request

Provide cost as necessary.

Prepare COGS analysis for cost drivers and update consolidated landed costs.

Review, reconcile, and maintain monthly schedules of inventory-related accounts, such as Accrued Purchases, Accounts PayableForeign Trade, Finished Goods Inventory Purchased, Cost of Goods Sold, and other inventory accounts.

Assist in the year-end physical inventory count.

Assist in the preparation of inventory lists and disposal lists.

Assist in audit requirements by preparing necessary schedules and supporting documents

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls

Identify process gaps and recommend improvements, such as automation, to strengthen inventory controls and improve efficiency.

Perform other related duties or ad hoc tasks as required to meet the goals and objectives of the Company and Finance Department.

Must be familiar with local laws and accounting standards/regulations.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Accounting Technology

Experience

Minimum 2-3 years in Accounting Field

Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
