Overview Of Role

The Setup and Price Distribution Coordinator is responsible for managing the loading and updating itineraries and related pricing, promotions, and discounts within our reservation systems. The role also provides support to call center agents and sales staff when booking issues arise. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of Silversea’s integration into RCG, including the transition from one reservation system to a new and innovative platform, a milestone that occurs approximately once every 30 years in the cruise industry. The successful candidate will work with an international team, primarily during Miami East Coast hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and update new itineraries and voyages, including the addition and update of new ports
    • Build new day by day itineraries and voyages, including building new ports
    • Update Penalty and GFT tables
    • Add products/supplements to all voyages.
  • Create and update savings (e.g., Venetian savings; Combo savings, etc.), discounts, promotions
  • Upload and update price grids
  • Create and maintain supplementary products and packages
  • Manage cruise and flight bundling setups
  • Provide booking support in case of issues
  • Perform system testing to ensure accuracy and functionality
  • Collaborate closely with the team during the ongoing system transition and integration process
  • Attend Setup meetings and provide operational feasibility and timing
  • Support data migration from the old reservation system into the new one
Education

Job Requirements and/or Qualifications expected

Years Of Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in reservation system management

Essential Qualifications And Skills

  • Fluent English, any additional European language is an advantage
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • Advanced formulas (LOOKUPs, GETPIVOTDATA, INDEX, MATCH)
    • PowerPivot and Power Query are a plus
    • VBA scripting is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Additional advantageous skills: knowledge of SQL and Python
