CAD Operator

Here’s the difference you’ll make

You will p repare and create design, shop, and as-built drawings as  required  during the construction, survey, designing, tendering, etc., of projects  in accordance with  the requirements of the existing codes and the organization’s  standards.

What you’ll do

• Assist the team, clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.  
• Produce and interpret rough sketches and  using  CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.  
• Construct 2D and 3D visual models of all  propose ,  on-going  and completed projects.  
• Visit sites to gather,  verify  and/or  validate  information and  determine  limitations and feasibility of designs.  
• Update software, drawings, and other documents.  
• Remain professional when feedback is delivered and implementing any changes to drafts as soon as possible.  
• Ensure drawings are compliant with building regulations and engineering principles.
• Communicate potential design issues to engineers and architects.  
• Conduct research when  required .  
• Perform other related  job /duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time. 
  
  

You’ll thrive in this role if you

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology .
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience

Technical Competencies

• License is  advantage  but not  required . 
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2017 and above, Lumion, SketchUp and among
  
  

others 

• Strong communication  skills and attention to detail. 
• Has  good work  ethic and ability to accept feedback. 
• Willingness to work overtime when  required . 
• Willing to travel
