Your Role
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Manage vendor records and customer billing
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
Identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues or inconsistencies
Support payroll data preparation (if applicable)
Maintain organized digital financial files and documentation
Collaborate with accountants, finance teams, or external auditors as needed
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
QuickBooks experience
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with bank and account reconciliations
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Skills/expertise
QuickBooks Certification
Knowledge of payroll processing systems
Familiarity with accounting software integrations and cloud-based tools
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience using collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, Slack)
