Your Role
As a Assistant Trust Accountant, you will:
Run end of month for assigned Winbeat, iBAIS, Javln + Other systems where notified.
Drawing income and GST
Daily banking import and ledger reconciliation
Generating End of Month reports
Posting manual journal entries, movement of cash between clients, monitoring and clearing all financed transactions
Filing reports
Maintain and distribute BI analytical reports from insurance systems, frequent reporting and ad hoc by request QlikSense, NPrinting and Power BI
Interpret data, analyze results and produce analytical reports within an agreed timeline with the counterparts
Support analyst for generation of ad hoc monthly revenue information, Maintain and Enhance communications between Policy Administration System (PAS) Trust Accounting team, and Accounts team (both Manila and AU central services)
Work closely with IT counterparts- To ensure sufficient data security over any scheduled tasks- Maintaining and management internal and external ticket requests relating to PAS, and BI systems
Support monthly and ad hoc reconciliations between broking Systems and finance systems.
Assist with change management and roll outs of continuous improvements
Bordereaux preparation, management and reconciliation.
Demonstrate ability to embrace and develop best practices and ability to oversee fast paced insurance brokerage operations
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Advanced Knowledgeable on MS Excel applications including experience with pivot tables, analyzing and formatting data, use of filters, managing workbooks, creating charts & graphs, reference and lookup functions
Database administration related experience, and experience managing large data is a plus
Preferably at least 2 years Experienced Employees handling data and/or financial analysis function
Experience working directly with company or customers based in Australia and/or UK and US is an advantage
Relevant experience in insurance industry is an advantage
Advanced Knowledge & Experience in using excel with exposure in creating/building templates
Experience with BI tools, e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft BI is an advantage
