The Asset Disposal Supervisor is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of retiring company assets across 2GO’s nationwide operations. This role ensures that the disposal of various assets is conducted in a manner that maximizes financial recovery, ensures 100% regulatory and environmental compliance, and maintains the integrity of the Fixed Asset Register.

What You’ll Do (your Mission)

  • Process accreditation of bidders and service providers to ensure of their capability to join bids.
  • Review and analyze completeness of information on the approved Certificate for Disposal (CFD).
  • Validate and inspect actual items/assets on the approved CFD prior to receiving.
  • Conduct actual bid proceedings and negotiate when necessary.
  • Handles sourcing/disposal of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste collection.
  • Process request for payment of approved bids and ensure correct booking.

  • Check status of sold fixed asset in the Online FATA inquiry if retired in the system.
  • Organize and file printed or scanned online disposal documents (Bid Forms or Letter of Intent, Authority to Withdraw, copy of the Official Receipt, among others), to easily tract files when needed.
  • Conduct market research to validate current market value items/assets endorsed for disposal.
  • Support asset tagging and physical asset count conducted by the Corporate Asset Management.

Educational Background

Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any engineering equivalent courses related to Asset Disposal and Management.

Professional Experience | Competencies, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Good in organizing, planning, time management, and networking.
  • Trustworthy, credible, and reliable.
  • Good communication skills, negotiation skills, and can handle all types of customers both internal and external stakeholder.
  • Knowlegable in proper disposal of hazardous waste and market research of scrap price.
